The Role
The Temporary Senior Associate, Client Team Support, will play a critical role by providing high-level administrative support to and assist in managing day-to-day responsibilities of executives with both management and client-service responsibilities while maintaining strict confidentiality. This role will involve a diverse range of tasks that require discretion, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a demanding client service organization. This position requires a high level of professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients while maintaining a focus on service excellence.
- Provide high level support to Managing Directors (MDs) including, but not limited to, calendar management, travel coordination, expense report submission, and meeting preparation.
- Review forms and reports in the firm’s client acceptance portal for accuracy and completeness and distribute to team members.
- Prepare and review job arrangement letters in accordance with firm standards.
- Assist with set up of client codes and job numbers with the utmost accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Organize, track, and maintain certain client and administrative files and follow-up on missing items in a timely manner.
- Create and track business development reports and activities for MDs.
- Prepare, coordinate, and send client documents.
- Prepare, coordinate, and send documents related to internal management functions.
- Generate and distribute reports in billing and other systems as needed for client engagement team(s).
- Ensure the completion of essential projects and meet critical deadlines.
- Occasionally assist office committees with coordination of external events.
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 or more years administrative experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and with conferencing software (MS Teams, Zoom).
- Professional demeanor and experience communicating with multiple executive levels, including C-Suite and Board Members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive with ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects/tasks with an attention to detail.
- Uses technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in work product and seeks out opportunities to improve skills.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment/decision making when necessary and also supervise others, as applicable.
- Occasionally be available to assist with urgent matters during weekends.
- This role is in office 5 days a week, in our New York City office.
Compensation
Our firm offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being, growth, and long-term success of our people. Salary Range: For individuals hired to work in New York, New York, the expected salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $130,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.
