Description:You will be a Material Requirements Planner (MRP) for our team, leading the MRP process for at least one full aircraft (AC) modification at a time. Our team is responsible for ensuring that production and schedule needs are met, and we're looking for a skilled and organized individual to join our ranks.
What You Will Be DoingAs an MRP, you will be responsible for interfacing with Master Scheduling, Production Operations, and Production Engineering to ensure that production and schedule needs are met. You will work closely with our team to build and maintain Install Logs for assigned ACs, generate and issue production work orders, and coordinate with various teams to obtain necessary materials.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Lead MRP for at least one full AC modification at a time
• Interface with Master Scheduling, Production Operations, and Production Engineering to ensure production and schedule needs are met
• Build and maintain Install Logs for assigned ACs
• Generate, issue, and close production work orders in accordance with the build plan and Production Engineering (PE) releases
• Request drawings through Configuration Management Data Center (CMDC) when needed for production work orders
• Issue kits and parts to the appropriate kit cage
• Coordinate with Procurement for purchase parts needed
• Coordinate with Manufacturing for make parts
• Coordinate with Production Management Office (PMO) for any green AC parts
• Generate 1149s as needed
• Follow the borrow/payback process for kits as needed
• Make decisions regarding the most efficient avenue to obtain materials needed
• Cross-train with floor support to assist in emergency situations
• Scan closed work orders to archive
• Respond to Non-Conformance Documents (NCDs) and work to resolve production material issues
• Check the work of Level I and II MRPs for accuracy as needed
• Assist in MRP training
• Provide MRP coverage as needed for offsite projects

Basic Qualifications:Minimum five years of performing aircraft modifications and leading teams.
Strong aptitude to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
