This role will be hybrid in Bangalore, India.
We are looking for a Sr Customer Training Specialist to join our team of Trust and Safety Learning and Knowledge Professionals. You will be responsible for developing top-notch, highly engaging learning opportunities and materials within our Trust and Safety organization.
Responsibilities:
Instructional Design/Training: Experience developing both Instructor Led and eLearning training modules and programs. Exceptional skills in at least one of the following areas: video production, podcast production, learning game design, or graphic design (portfolio of the work will be requested). Exceptional skills in developing eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline 360. Design templates, job aids, and diagrams to improve the retention of the knowledge. Experience developing and measuring various assessment processes including, but not limited to: assignments, quizzes, exams, teach backs, etc. Experience evaluating and improving multi-day and multi-week training programs. Experiencing facilitating in-person and virtual training classes. Experience working with a Learning Management System: pulling reports, adding classes/courses, and managing users.
Knowledge Management: Demonstrated ability to write concise, complete, verifiable knowledge-base articles. Demonstrated skills in taking classroom learnings and developing appropriate knowledge management processes to assist in the retention and recall of learners post-learning process. Demonstrated ability to understand complex content including policies, procedures and develop simple knowledge management articles to ensure quick, precise decision-making. Experience using knowledge management tools (SharePoint, Wikis).
Stakeholder Management/Engagement: Experience working with stakeholders across organizations to move projects. Experience writing and executing project plans. Experience in identifying stakeholder and project risks.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, Instructional Design, Education, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Exceptional skills in at least one of the following areas: video production, podcast production, learning game design, or graphic design. - 2+ years of instructional design and/or knowledge management experience. Experience using eLearning software including: Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Design Suite, Descript (video development) or any other like system. - Experience managing courses, data and reporting within the a Learning Management System. - Exceptional skills in public speaking and oral presentation. - Project Management experience. - Experience writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Knowledge Management, Library Science, Instructional Design, or Education - 3+ years of instructional design or knowledge management experience. - Certification in PMP, Six Sigma or another project management certification. - Experience within the Trust and Safety sector. - Experience within the Technology sector. - Understanding of global current events. - Experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System. - Experience developing L&D or KM Strategy.
