Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst for the Residuals Department. This individual will participate in the day-to-day operations of Financial Contract Administration and Reporting group. As member of the Residuals team they will assist in a wide range of residuals matters concerning all segments of the NBCUniversal production, including supporting all Guild and residuals reporting obligations. This is a fast-paced environment which interfaces with teams in the U.S. and internationally, and with opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key contributor on setup processes related to ongoing Guild residuals obligations, specifically HB SVOD, AVOD and all New Media
- Drive initiatives that identify setup improvement opportunities and build efficiencies into existing processes
- SAP/Payroll liaison relating to uploads, talent set-up and payment inquiries
- Monitor and update new product coverage/delivery; liaison with production groups as required Research and consolidate data/documentation for talent set-up
- Prepare talent cast lists for upload
- Prepare and execute AP/Payroll payments processes
- Review new distribution deal terms (for minimum payment requirements)
- Assist in product conversion, as needed
- Update payees in SAP and troubleshoot setup issues
- Work within Paris, SAP and Exactuals to re-issue checks in bulk
- Participate in special and ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of finance experience, preferably in the entertainment industry
- Exceptional Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Ability to succeed in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues from multiple stakeholders
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- 2 years’ experience working in a Residuals department is preferred
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience working in a Residuals department is preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
- PARIS system experience is a plus
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
