Description:You will be a Material Handler for our production team, responsible for controlling, storing, and transporting materials and equipment within an industrial area. Our team is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials to meet production demands.
What You Will Be Doing As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks and forklifts to transport materials and equipment, as well as coordinating the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers. You will also be responsible for stocking and kitting items for the production floor, maintaining inventory accuracy, and performing minor mechanical adjustments.

Basic Qualifications:Must be able to pass requirements for operating power warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make effective decisions
Candidate should have a valid driver’s license
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Willingness to work alternate nonstandard/overtime hours as required.
**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment
Desired Skills:Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
Working Knowledge of SAP/Apriso
Previous experience working around heavy equipment and knowledge of loading and unloading trucks for transportation
Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing operations experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 3x12 hour day
