The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Senior Director serves a key role on the SpinCo centralized Financial Planning and Analysis team, reporting to the Vice President with responsibility for planning, analysis, and reporting of SpinCo Revenue, EBITDA, and Free Cash Flow metrics. The role provides the unique opportunity for extensive visibility with the SpinCo leadership team and experience both shaping and managing the full planning process for a publicly traded company.
The Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for all planning and estimate cycles, internal reporting and related analysis for SpinCo financial results. The team also oversees the preparation of financial analyses for a wide spectrum of audiences including SpinCo Senior management, Investor Relations, Business Unit leadership, and external audiences.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Driving key processes to close the spin-off from Comcast and develop new standard company processes, including setting-up and testing new Finance systems for all of SpinCo, supporting Treasury team in initial debt raise and return of capital strategy, and partnering with controllership team on Form 10 and initial 10K filings
- Consolidating cable networks, digital, O&T, and other centralized functions for one SpinCo story from EBITDA through Free Cash Flow and return of capital
- Tying off with external reporting for Financial Statements including Net Income, Operating/Investing/Financing Activities and earnings per share
- Partnering with Treasury/IR teams to forecast share buybacks, dividends, and taxes and track performance against analyst consensus
- Developing financial performance presentations for Board of Directors
- Ideating with Vice President, FP&A in ensuring process for all planning cycles (budget, quarterly forecasts / close, long range plans) is as efficient as possible, including establishing a single set of standard reports across all Finance teams
- Overseeing system maintenance and account hierarchy alongside Controllership
- Providing ongoing support for ad hoc FP&A support for key SpinCo leadership, including COO/CFO, Investor Relations, and head of Operations & Technology
- Leading and developing a team of three direct reports
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting and a minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Exceptional project management skills
- Solid computer/analysis skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Characteristics:
- Previous experience in the media and entertainment industry highly preferred
- Solid interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
- Comfort with a culture of adaptability with continuous refinement of roles and processes
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to team effectively across a wide range of other leaders
- Experience in public accounting at the Big Four and experience with SEC reporting a plus
- Experience with SAP Accounting/Business Warehouse and BPC software a plus
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on Manager discussion or business need.
