What does a success Senior Product Designer do at Fiserv?
The BentoBox Marketing and Commerce Platform delivers a seamless guest experience dedicated to accelerating growth and helping restaurants thrive. The platform empowers modern restaurants to build their online presence, diversify revenue, engage with diners, and increase operational efficiency. To do so, the platform includes products such as websites, ordering (online ordering, pre-order & catering, gift cards, merchandise, tickets), events management, and marketing tools.
Fiserv is hiring for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. This Senior Product Designer will partner with a dedicated team of Product Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Operations associates to ensure both restaurant operators and restaurant guests have an exceptional experience interacting with BentoBox products. This is a high-leverage role that will have a significant impact on our ability to deliver value to restaurants and will require partnership stakeholders throughout Fiserv.
What You’ll Do:
Take ownership of a project’s product design process, acting autonomously to lead a project to a successful launch
Produce elegant solutions to complex problems, efficiently and consistently
Design from concept to hand-off, knowing when to make low-fi sketches and when to make pixel-perfect prototypes
Help maintain and evolve our design system
Inform design solutions by conducting competitive analysis, reviewing analytics, interviewing users and running user tests
Partner closely with product managers, engineers and internal stakeholders to find effective but practical solutions to customer needs
Give and solicit feedback from other designers, including mentoring less senior designers
Present concepts to leadership, justifying your choices with rationale and research
What you need to have:
5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end design decisions.
Experience designing for B2B or B2B2C products.
Proficiency in modern design tools, particularly Figma, with expertise in design systems and component libraries.
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end product design, creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-focused solutions.
Strong foundation in visual design principles, including typography, color theory, hierarchy.
Knowledge of current and emerging design trends, as well as an understanding of established best practices.
Experience conducting user and competitor research and analyzing data insights to inform and iterate designs.
What is nice to have:
Ability to think strategically about product vision and balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
Ability to create clickable prototypes to communicate and test design ideas.
Familiarity with accessibility standards
Experience with interface animations.
Experience in the hospitality industry.

Empathy for users, understanding their pain points and advocating for their need.
