Closeout Engineer (Construction)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Closeout Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the closeout phase of our construction projects, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the closeout process for construction projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.

  • Compile and organize all closeout documents, including warranties, operation manuals, and as-built drawings.

  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to address any outstanding issues or punch list items.

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct final inspections and ensure all work meets quality standards.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.

To excel as a Closeout Engineer, several key skills are essential:

Attention to Detail: Ensuring all project documentation is accurate and complete.

Project Management: Managing timelines, resources, and ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.

Communication: Effectively coordinating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues that arise during the closeout process.

Technical Proficiency: Understanding engineering principles and being able to apply them to ensure quality and compliance.

Organizational Skills: Keeping track of multiple tasks and documents.

Location

The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre.
