Duties: Create user information solutions by developing, implementing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces. Write well designed, testable, efficient code and ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Support continuous improvements by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
Salary: $184,057.00 to $210,800.00 per year
What you have
Job Requirements: Master's in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field. Requires 6 years (72 months) of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 72 months involving the following: Java programming language and the Spring framework including SpringBoot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, and cloud native micro-services; Front-end development using Angular and complementary frameworks; Integrating solutions with MongoDB, MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgresSQL databases; GIT source control, unit testing, Bamboo CI/CD processes and agile methodologies; Splunk for analytics; and, Design multi-tier back-end systems and services.
