The WorkAs a Facilities Technician, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the daily operations and long-term reliability of our HVAC and infrastructure systems.
You’ll be responsible for:
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) on all assigned HVAC assets to ensure peak energy efficiency and reduce downtime.
Using the Building Management System (BMS) to analyze system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
Providing day-to-day support for general facilities needs, including repairs, installations, and project support.
Managing the operation of critical infrastructure systems, including centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, pumps, controls, and other HVAC equipment.

This is a full-time role following a 4/10 work schedule—you’ll work 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day.

Who You AreYou're a skilled and driven HVAC professional with:
5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
A strong understanding of infrastructure cooling in critical environments.
The ability to self-manage and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in operating and maintaining complex systems including chillers, towers, pumps, and controls.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for optimizing system performance.

Operational knowledge of building automation systems.
Knowledge of maintenance shop practices and safety procedures related facilities operation, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment.
Knowledge on operating chillers, diesel generators, and HVAC equipment and basic electronic controls.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and routine operational repairs.
Desired Skills:General construction, and fabrication skills.
Experience with Central Utility Plant operations, and experience with general facility maintenance support.
Familiarity with Data Center Operational Environment.
Good general computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel).
Knowledge of CMMS Software with ability to drive workload.
Effective oral & written communication skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, maintains a positive attitude, and willing to be a responsible & dedicated team player.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
