At TFS, we’reembarking on atechnology transformation journey, creating next generation products and platforms. These products enable TFS to provide a best-in-class experience to our customers and partners and position us to rapidly scale to realize our vision of mobility for all by enabling freedom of movement for everyone. We are seeking a Director, Software Engineering, to serve as the Technology Domain Owner (TDO). The Technology Domain Owner plays a pivotal role in overseeing all technology-related initiatives within the specific domain. The TDO will develop and execute the domain's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives, and lead multiple teams. Leveraging their technical expertise, the TDO willinnovate and deliver impactful business outcomes. Additionally, strong influencing skills are essential for shaping strategy and fostering partnerships both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities Include
You will lead design, user experience, platform integrations, availability, performance, scalability. Build engineering best practices,processesand mechanisms
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and concise updates on delivery, risks, and achievements. Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and customer expectations
Responsible for directly hiring, retaining, and growing top managers and engineering talent within your group. You will lead an organization with diverse skills, experience, and cultural backgrounds
You will own all aspects of talent development including performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and promoting people
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in object-oriented programming, Java script frameworks, architecture, design patterns, Restful API development, and CX engineering
Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment, leveraging agile methodologies, collaborating with diverse teams including UX, product management, architecture, and infrastructure to develop high-quality solutions
