Job Summary Details: The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: • Event setup & breakdown: Arranging chairs, tables, podiums, tents etc.
• Loading/unloading: Transporting supplies and equipment to/from trucks or storage areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping event areas tidy during setup, event hours, and breakdown.
• Assisting vendors/crew: Assisting caterers, tech teams, or decorators.
• Following event plans/layouts: Setting things up according to diagrams or instructions.
• Classroom or lecture hall resets: Especially after special events or guest lectures.
• Signage placement: Putting up directional signs or event banners around campus.
• Custodial duties: Sweeping, trash collection, cleaning before/after events.
• Following setup diagrams: Often provided by event coordinators or facilities staff.
