Shift: Full-Time Days Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, on call after hours/weekends for emergencies
Salary: 20.60 hourly
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of our buildings and ensuring a safe, functional, and attractive environment for our tenants and staff.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, change air filters & light bulbs, and carpentry.
Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance areas and equipment.
Assist with cleaning.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of events and meeting set ups.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Build and Move furniture.
Clean up trash around the perimeter of the facilities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in building maintenance or related field.
Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (more than 50 ibs).
Valid driver's license.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • One (1) year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: • Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures
• Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
• Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary
• Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed
