Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable individual to join our team as a Bicycle Valet for special events. As a Bicycle Valet, you will play a vital role in assisting guests with safely parking and retrieving their bicycles during high-traffic, fast-paced events. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage bikes efficiently in a fast past environment, and a keen eye for safety.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with parking and retrieving their bicycles.
- Ensure that all bicycles are securely stored and returned in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized and clean valet area.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, answering questions about the valet service and event.
- Monitor the safety and condition of all bicycles stored in the valet area.
- Handle any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of event schedules and be prepared for peak traffic times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with bicycle valet services or similar fast-paced, customer service roles is a plus.
- A strong interest in bicycles, cycling, or outdoor activities; owning a bicycle is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle bicycles of various sizes and styles.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume periods.
