Our interns will be paid hourly and work up to 40 hours per week during this program. Interns will act as a part of the service line team learning and engaging each step of the way. You will gain knowledge of commercial industry terms, laws and regulations, processes, and market trends, taking your experience and knowledge back to share with your classmates and organizations.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and market research
- Conduct outreach to Fortune 2000 companies via phone calls and other effective communication channels
- Develop compelling value propositions tailored to potential clients' specific real estate needs
- Utilize technical tools and data analytics to identify potential leads and market trends
- Coordinate with senior team members to create customized business development strategies
- Track and report on prospecting activities and conversion metrics
- Support the preparation of presentations and proposals for prospective clients
- Proactively interacting with brokers, especially related to prospects (database ownership, proper contacts/contact information, portfolio data, industry trends, etc.).
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required
- Comfortable with phone outreach and other business development communication methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
- Interest in a career path to become a Commissioned Broker
- Computer proficiency (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience using CRM programs is a plus
- Hands-on team player who has a strong execution orientation
- Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams
