Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Food and Beverage Manager located in Uniontown, PA. The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars and banquet operations in accordance with established guest service and Hilton Brand standards.
Duties of the F&B Manager include:
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with Hilton core values.
- Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet and banquet facilities.
- Ensure that the food service complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates.
- Place orders for food, alcohol and kitchen supplies and take inventory of items. Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply.
- Resolve guest complaints and coordinate with other department leaders to resolve service delivery or quality breakdowns.
- Check that all equipment is in working order.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food.
- Work closely with Sales Manager and Clients to schedule menus, times and facilitate Banquet events.
- Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Oversee serving staff to ensure proper liquor controls are in place and all cash handling policies and procedures are followed. Comply with all accounting policies.
- Participate in marketing efforts of restaurants and banquets, create menu ideas, survey competition and report food trends, and assist in preparation of specials.
Work schedule varies and will include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
This position will start in the $50,000-$55,000 range and is eligible to participate in the Prospera Hospitality bonus program.
Requirements
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 3-6 years restaurant experience preferred.
- RAMP Certification required
- Food Handlers Certification required
