About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a leader to manage team of professionals that deliver advisory solutions and sound data and analytics to Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking and respective operational teams for traditional trade and open account product solutions and structures. You will engage in frequent and proactive interactions with clients, bankers and operational teams and perform portfolio and day-to-day operational risk management activities.
In this role, you will:- Determine appropriate strategy and actions of functional area to meet to high-risk deliverables; interpret and develop policies and procedures for products with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy in building and maintaining effective relationships with existing clients within their product(s) or functional area, including sharing relevant information with coverage team partners
- Lead the team to review and analyze moderate to highly complex and strategic client product or transaction requests for key issues related to structure, price and interpretation of global trade rules.
- Manage a team of individuals and provide leadership for moderate to highly complex modifications, renewals, and refinancings, including assessing product risk level for both prospective clients and existing clients
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior managers to lead the strategy and resolution of moderate to highly complex scenarios and unique challenges by synthesizing industry and economic trends, including legal and regulatory issues
- Partner with product management functional partners to provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise on evolving product specific requirements, leading to the development of significant cross-functional process improvement and risk control development
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives for area of responsibility
Required Qualifications:- 6+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- 6+ years of international traditional trade product experience
- Experience in leading remote work teams and balancing deliverables in a matrix environment
- 3+ years of experience in leading or collaborating with product focused operations teams
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.
Job Expectations:- May be required to work outside of tradition business hours to support global needs
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
