Are you a seasoned Bid Manager with a passion for excellence? Our Defence Nuclear Technology Solutions (DNTS) business is on the lookout for a talented individual to join our team and drive our growth in this exciting sector. Reporting to the Head of Business Winning and Sales Enablement, you will work across numerous opportunities, making a significant impact on our success.
Key responsibilities include:
Bid Management: Lead and manage the entire bid lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to submission and post-submission activities.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement bid strategies that align with our organisation's goals and objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure bid requirements are met.
Content Creation: Write, edit, and review bid content to ensure clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with bid submissions.
Compliance: Ensure all bids comply with public sector procurement regulations and guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Analyse bid outcomes and feedback to continuously improve bid processes and strategies.
Clarifications: Track, collate, and issue responses to pre and post-bid clarifications.
Budget Management: Assist in managing the budget for bid-related activities and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyse feedback from bid evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
What we Need
Relevant experience in Bid Management within a similar environment
Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and business acumen
Proactive, with attention to detail and strong project management skills
Understanding of Sales, Capture, and Bid Management best practices (e.g., Shipley).
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant business, technical, or professional field of study (Desirable)
APMP Membership (Desirable)
