KBR is looking for Lead HSE Engineer, Environmental & Social to be based in– Abu Dhabi

Roles and Responsibilities
- An Engineering degree holder.
- 20+ years or more experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experienced in ADNOC standards and in HSE designs, studies, HSEIA.
- A minimum of 6-8 years’ experience as a Lead HSE Engineer (E&S) in the Oil & Gas Projects.
- At least 5 years’ experience working as a Lead HSE Engineer (E&S) in the Middle East Countries.
- Responsible for the implementation of HSEIA processes, HSE project procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
- Prefer global EPC Contractor or Sub-Contractor experience.
- Having leadership quality to manage all indirect and direct manpower on site and deliver the planned progress.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
Experiences, Qualifications requirements:
- Minimum Overall 20+ years of oil & gas experience.
- Minimum 8years of experience in a Lead role.
- Experience within the EPC phase of LNG projects.
- Lead on the development of Environmental, Social, Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA)
- Participate in development of ADNOC HSE Standards and AGES requirements, Execute Plant Operations and Project Divisions’ work and monitor compliance to ADNOC HSE requirements.
- Participate in site-based assurance activities to verify occupational health and social impact control measures are in place and functioning as expected.
- Provide Occupational Health and Social Impact input to technical design and procedural proposals to ensure that designs, drawings and modifications to plant, equipment, installations can be conducted in accordance with ADNOC & International Standards.
- Participate in Audits according to plan & verify implementation of assurance programs.
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Management practices in all operating activities.
- Facilitates a two-way communication culture, where employees can openly report HSE non-compliances.
- Support on-going Health, Safety and Environment programs aimed at achieving and maintaining agreed HSEMS expectations and objectives.
- Well conversant of establishing the ADNOC One ERP
- Ensure tools and equipment being used at site meets ADNOC HSE requirements.
- Ensures all work is carried out in accordance with project HSE Plans and KPIs
- Support emergency preparedness: awareness, equipment, systems, etc. as per emergency plans.
- Support the emergency, fire and rescue, and on-scene team in their activities to overcome the incidents.
- Keeps abreast of developments and changes in Government administration and regulations.
- Support ADNOC Leadership to drive a positive safety culture at site.
- Participates in leadership HSE walkthroughs of the site
- Safeguard own Health and Safety, as well as that of fellow employees, by paying attention to safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment, and complying with applicable HSE requirements.
- Take action to INTERVENE and STOP any unsafe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements, if witnessed, and report the incident - regardless of your position or that of the transgressor.
