What does a successful Technical Operations Manager do at Fiserv?
As the Technical Operations Manager in the Embedded Finance group, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our embedded finance solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. You will provide leadership in working across functional teams, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring delivery of reliable, high performing solutions for our clients. You will work closely with various departments, including DevOps, development, and customer service, to deliver exceptional service and innovative financial solutions.
What you will do:
- Provide oversight of entire operations, including onboarding, delivery, transition and production support, ensuring efficiency and quality in a 24/7 environment.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve operational objectives, including automation, quality improvement, and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with cyber, risk, and development teams, conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create effective business plans and drive key improvements in client onboarding and support.
- Act as a subject matter expert on embedded finance solutions, providing guidance and analysis for new business proposals as it relates to the technical architecture of the solution.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
- 7+ years of team leadership experience in a relevant field, with a proven track record of operational excellence.
- 7+ years of experience demonstrating a strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks, quality programs, and best practices.
- 7+ years of experience with DevOps, Agile and/or Six Sigma principles.
- Broad technical architecture experience.
- 7+ years of expertise in monitoring and alerting software such as Dynatrace, Data Dog, Splunk and Grafana.
