What Will You Do
Our Refrigeration Controls Product Engineering team has an immediate opening for a full-time Mechanical Engineer based in Glendale, WI. Candidates must be commuting distance, or able/willing, to relocate.
You will have the opportunity to apply engineering principles to develop new products, maintain existing products, and drive process improvements through collaboration across manufacturing, procurement, quality, and design.
How You Will Do It
- You will provide engineering documentation to support the design and manufacturing of thermostats, temperature controls, pressure controls, and pneumatic controls. Get reqdy to work with Product Management, Manufacturing, Testing, and Quality to ensure products meet all customer requirements, as well as with your peers and managers to develop internal expertise of the different requirements across our full range of product families.
- Design, model, annotate/draw and BOM release of Refrigeration Controls.
- Provide Technical Guidance to Engineering, Suppliers, Procurement, Marketing, and Operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve product design.
- Evaluate and implement corrective action to resolve quality issues
- Apply computer knowledge to automate and streamline workflows
- Utilize Microsoft Software tools to analyze Bill of Materials and create Engineering documents.
- Travel to acquire training within the industry and to resolve manufacturing issues.
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at an ABET accredited U.S. college or university.
- 0 -1 years of experience including internships
- Exposure to advanced CAD modeling techniques
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to visualize how control systems work
- Artificial Intelligence awareness
- Desire to work with international teams
- Customer oriented mindset
- US Citizen
Preferred
- Manufacturing and Fabrication Experience
- Experience creating 3D CAD and 2D Drawings
- Experience with Windchill and SAP ERP Software.
- Experience with ANSYS FEA software
- Six Sigma and LEAN manufacturing techniques
- Process Control and Statistical Analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Project
