Overview
The Taxi Starter provides exceptional customer service to the traveling public by answering questions, directing passengers and customers to the area of the airport they are seeking and directing passengers to available ground transportation options. Also required to become knowledgeable of basic airport operations including but not limited to airport taxi operations. Performs other duties as assigned. The pay listed is $17.34/hr. paid biweekly.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Customer service experience
• One (1) year of similar work experience
Responsibilities:
• Directs passengers to available taxis; occasionally assisting with luggage.
• Monitors taxi lines and interacts with taxi drivers to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Distributes Taxi Information Brochures.
• Monitors and assist with TNC traffic
• Records and prepares written taxi incident reports.
• Escalates any queries and concerns from the traveling public to supervisor or team lead.
• Adheres to and enforces department policies and ordinances relating to commercial vehicle operations at MSP.
• Maintains working knowledge of MAC Automated Vehicle Identification Software (MAVIS).
Roadways
• Maintains current knowledge of the terminal campus and commercial vehicle roadway system.
• Monitors commercial vehicle roadways; responds to safety concerns and reports needed repairs.
