Overview
Scope of Position
Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties, usually under close supervision.
Job Responsibilities
Operate shears, punches, saws as needed
Must be able to accurately measure precise lengths and cut materials to size. Capable of operating forklifts and being trained to obtain forklift certification.
Able to carry out written or verbal instructions
Must be able to perform moderate physical work. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
May perform a variety of functions, such as; bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Must be able to locate and identify specific sizes of material and load or unload with forklift.
Education/Experience
High school diploma preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.
