Job Summary Details: The Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of all floor surfaces in our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with floor care equipment and techniques, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older

Floor care experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: - Clean, maintain, and restore various types of flooring including tile, carpet, vinyl, and concrete
- Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and extractors
- Strip, wax, buff, and seal hard surface floors as needed
- Shampoo and extract carpets using appropriate methods and chemicals
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs
- Monitor inventory of floor care supplies and request restocking as needed
- Assist with general janitorial duties when required
- Ensure all work areas are left clean, safe, and hazard-free
