As a successful Business System Analyst, you have good technical & Product knowledge. You are highly organized, can adjust priorities and have great attention to detail. You should be able to manage different stakeholders including both internal and external stakeholders. Understand difference between a perfect and a good-enough result. Help design solutions, understand client needs, understand the need of technology upgrades and prioritize them. You understand how your product helps drive the overall business.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with business partners to analyze and understand business problem/need
- Develop business and system requirements subject areas and reports for product, reviewing the design documents and make sure those are in sync with requirements
- Write Epics, Features and stories in detail, which can be used by both developers and testers for both front end and backend data testing.
- Leverage thorough understanding of business and system processes to make recommendations and propose technical/non-technical solutions to meet business requirements
- Document current state business process ("as is" process map) and future state business process ("to-be" process map)
- Use a variety of industry standard/best practices techniques to elicit requirements from the Business
- Document, categorize and prioritize business, user and system requirements
- Tests / validates developed software solution to ensure that the completed product matches with the business requirements and operates correctly
- Assists with diagnosis/troubleshooting of reported problems pertaining to software developed
- Conduct Sessions to Dev team and QA team to get the complete understanding of the system
- Need to participate in end user training of the system
- Coordinates with Scrum Master, Dev Team in Sprint Planning meetings
- Initiate and translate product roadmap into manageable pieces in product backlog
- Keep insight and good understanding on product and effective prioritization of backlog items
- Understand the feature and changes in product requirements and support in the release/sprint planning efforts
- Understand the need of non-functional requirements such as Security , performance etc. and make sure the product adheres to the standards defined by Fiserv
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, remove impediments that may come in the way of product delivery.
- Understand Agile estimation approaches and work with Scrum Master to mentor Dev teams.
- Organize and keep track of progress made in the product from every aspect.
- Serve as conduit with Scrum Master between delivery team and PM
- Keen understanding of the product and serves as a SME to Team
- Ability to support Dev teams with direction and alignment
You will need to have:
Minimum 12+ years of experience in working as a BSA for Web, Backend, API and mobile applications. Good Knowledge of SQL Server Strong Knowledge on Retail Banking domain, with at least 5 years in Payments domain and 3 years in Fed Wire payments. Deep knowledge of Payment Systems , Risk in Payment Systems, Low Value Real Time Payment Systems, SWIFT MT and ISO20022 Messaging for Payments, Prior knowledge of dealing with upstream and downstream systems. Understanding of B2B Communication through services/APIs, messaging, & through files in batch mode. Understanding of reports, receipts and extracts. Prior experience of working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Very Good communication & Interpersonal skills. Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MTech
What Would Be Great to Have:
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
