What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineer do at Fiserv?
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of Fiserv Hardware Services. You will be testing a wide range of applications to support the efficient shipment of terminals to our customers. Your work will be integral to merging our multiple applications into streamlined modules, enhancing maintainability and efficiency.
What you will do:
- Conduct thorough testing of multiple applications and modules to ensure high quality and performance
- Create and execute automated test scripts using TOSCA and Selenium
- Perform API testing and web automation using Rest Assured and Postman
- Execute UI Testing to ensure user interfaces work seamlessly
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and develop appropriate testing strategies
- Utilize your knowledge of databases, such as Oracle or SQL, to validate data integration and functionality
- Contribute to the migration of applications to AWS by ensuring proper functionality and integration post-migration
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience within a Testing Center of Excellence or Testing Integration Center
- 4+ years of experience with TOSCA and Selenium
- 3+ years of experience with API Testing, web automation with Rest Assured, Postman
- 3+ years of experience with UI Testing
- Knowledge of databases, such as Oracle or SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- AWS Certification
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics-related software
- Strong understanding of integrating multiple applications into a unified system
- Firsthand experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
