What does a successful Senior Performance Test Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will join a delivery team focused on developing the Commerce Hub platform. You will perform test planning for multiple software products and releases. You will prepare automated solutions using the existing framework and make changes to adapt to new requirements. Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. What you will do:
- Functional and regression testing of our Gateway Services products, including application, network, system, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Develop and execute test plans for payment APIs and UI applications
- Lead and participate in test planning and quality review sessions
- Perform testing activities such as planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging and reporting tasks
- Monitor and execute automation test activities
- Collaborate with technical and business groups to define the scope of testing required
- Demonstrate your firm understanding of QA processes within Agile/Scrum
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
- 3+ years of performance testing, analysis with tools like JMeter, IBM RPT, SoapUI
- 3+ years of testing on cloud, knowledge of cloud versus on-prem architecture
- 3+ years of experience testing APIs, RESTful/JSON web services
- 3+ years of experience with Junit/TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, SQL, JSON
- 3+ years of experience coding in Python, JavaScript, or Java
- 3+ years of experience with Git, including managing pull requests, implementing branch and release strategies with the team, and automating build and release processes through CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Merchant payment processing, including authorizations at either point-of-sale or Card-Not Present (eCommerce/digital), clearing and settlement systems, merchant onboarding, merchant reporting, and fraud/security analytics
- Payment processing for financial Institutions, specifically for debit cards, loans, and credit card systems, as well as financial services with high-volume, and large-scale processing and reporting
