The Budget and Administration Supervisor is responsible for leading a team that consistently and accurately delivers business and financial information to senior leadership and others and collaborates across company functional groups. This role will ensure accuracy and timeliness of the budgeting and forecasting process, invoice processing, purchase and receipt of goods and services, third party contracting processes and safety compliance, and inventory and fleet management. The ability to serve as a business champion to continuously look for opportunities to optimize the financial performance and cost structure of the business and manage office, field facilities and support services are keys to success.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Coordinates and participates in the expense budgeting and forecasting process.
- Coordinates workforce planning and career development for direct employees
- Provides administrative support to operational and local functional area leaders
- Identifies and implements financial and business process improvement opportunities
- Ensures invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner
- Drives improved reliability of financial and business processes; identifies development and deployment standard methodologies in these areas
- Develops and maintains scorecards for operational and financial performance metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: High school diploma/GED; a minimum of five (5) years' operations and administration experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or accounting
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills, especially Excel
- Budgeting and Forecasting process management experience
- Ability to analyze data
- Knowledge of contracts and supply chain process
- Understanding of compliance, including SOX
