What does a great API Digital Product Manager do?
The API Digital Product Manager is responsible for the successful launch and maintenance of Fiserv’s API products. This role encompasses operational readiness, commercialization, and subject matter expertise for Fiserv’s payment card products- employing Agile methodologies and Pragmatic Marketing framework for the U.S. market.
What you will do:
Lead the development and launch of innovative API products that drive significant incremental revenue for Fiserv. Provide daily support to internal and external clients regarding current product capabilities. Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure the successful operationalization and commercialization of products and services. Effectively communicate product vision and value to various stakeholders, serving as an evangelist for the product to ensure understanding and engagement throughout the organization.
- Define, communicate and execute a strategic product strategy, vision, roadmaps and tactical plans for client-centric solutions for Fiserv’s API products.
- Conduct business needs assessments, document requirements for technical specifications and recommend enhancements to existing risk management products and business processes.
- Execute the rollout and launch of new products and enhancements while utilizing systems and data to efficiently resolve issues.
- Achieve annual revenue and net operating profit goals for API products.
- Interface with clients, prospects, vendors and internal teams to ensure the product delivery meets business requirements with a repeatable and scalable approach.
- Collaborate with product line owners, strategists, agile managers, and subject matter experts to define product requirements and ensure successful deployments.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 6+ years of product management or payment card experience.
- Product management, project management, or business system analysis within the card payment or processing industry

- Demonstrated experience in the development and commercialization of APIs, driving successful product launches and market adoption.
- Experience in a payment processing environment and knowledge of technology supporting payment card products and services.
- Relevant certifications in product management or agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, providing direction, guidance, and support within the organization.
