What does a successful Senior Product Manager do?
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the successful development, launch, and maintenance of Fiserv’s Card Console product. This role encompasses product definition, operational readiness, commercialization, and subject matter expertise for Fiserv’s card products, employing Agile methodologies for the U.S. market.
What you will do:
Lead the development and launch of innovative enhancements to the Card Console product that drives significant incremental revenue for Fiserv. Provide daily support to internal and external clients regarding current product capabilities and features. Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure the successful operationalization and commercialization of the Card Console product and related services. Effectively communicate product vision and value to various stakeholders, serving as an evangelist for the Card Console product to ensure understanding and engagement throughout the organization.
- Define, communicate, and execute the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Card Console product and establish it as best-in-class.
- Conduct business needs assessments, document requirements for technical specifications, and recommend enhancements for existing card management products and processes associated with the Card Console.
- Execute the rollout and launch of new product features and enhancements for Card Console while utilizing systems and data to efficiently resolve product-related issues.
- Develop a deep understanding of interrelationships between Debit and Credit Processing platforms and surrounds to those platforms to support unified and harmonious solutions in Card Console.
- Interface with clients, prospects, vendors and internal teams to ensure the Card Console product delivery meets business requirements with a repeatable and scalable approach.
- Collaborate with product line owners, strategists, agile managers, and subject matter experts to define product requirements and ensure successful deployments.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or card experience.
- product management, project management, or business system analysis within the cards or processing industry

- Demonstrated experience in the development and commercialization of financial industry platforms and card management products.
- Experience in a payment processing and card servicing environment.
- Relevant certifications in product management or Agile methodologies.
- Deep understanding of the interrelationships between debit and credit processing platforms.
- Experience utilizing systems and data to resolve product-related issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, providing direction, guidance, and support within the organization.
