ManTech seeks a Data Science Intern to join our team in Honolulu, HI. This is position is 20/hrs a week on site in the Honolulu, HI office. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities
- Join our Internship Program to be exposed to exciting hands-on technical work to grow your skills and obtain a better understanding of the Data Science/Analytics Field.
- Contribute to guided projects over the summer that can directly flow back to real contracts.
- Work 20 hrs/week onsite in our Honolulu, HI location
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with a graduation date no earlier than December 2025.
- Prior internship or academic experience in data science/analytics
- Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling through internships and/or academic projects
- Experience with Python, R, Scala and/or JavaScript
- Experience with SQL through academic projects or prior internships
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research or studies in Indo-Pacific topics
- Experience with low-level / embedded data/science analytics
- Experience with cloud computing/cloud storage Applicants with the appropriate skills but without a security clearance are still encouraged to apply.
Security Clearance Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
