Description:Items Analyst - Level 2Location: Marietta GAWhat You Will Be DoingAs an Items Analyst - Level 2, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of material kits that support our aircraft production and sustainment programs. This position bridges the gap between Kit Management, Planning, and Engineering to ensure kits are accurate, efficient, and aligned with the latest designs. You'll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team where your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will directly impact production readiness and mission success.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Kit Management and MRP Planning teams to coordinate and maintain OBOM (Order Bill of Materials) data.
- Support the planning and processing of material kit requirements, coordinating exceptions with the assigned planner as needed.
- Establish and manage new material Top Kits and Sub-Kits within SAP.
- Investigate and resolve MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) errors by verifying against EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials).
- Initiate and track corrections to Top Kits and Sub-Kits to maintain accuracy in SAP.
- Coordinate the physical and system-based transfer of kits between kitting locations.
- Manage kit changes, redlines, and implementation of design updates (cut-ins) to support engineering changes.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate material shortages to maintain kit availability.
- Work with Technical Publications to align Kit Lists with MBOM/OBOM and minimize revisions.

· Experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly the use of Excel and Power Point
Desired Skills:· Experience with SAP ERP system, particularly the use of reporting capabilities to gather data for compiling performance metrics
· General knowledge of the Department of Defense Supply System would be helpful
· Extensive background and demonstrated experience in the supply logistics, supply chain management, and 3PL interactions
· Candidate must possess excellent communication skills (Written and Speaking) and have the ability to multitask and adapt easily in a rapidly changing environment.
· Must be able to work closely and professionally with others to gather and analyze data to accomplish complex tasks
· Customer Service skills. Able to effectively and professionally represent Kit Management to our customers and stakeholders

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
