As a Sustainment Lifecycle Team Member within the “Keep ‘Em Flyin” Cell, you'll play a vital role in maximizing aircraft availability while driving affordability through data-driven sustainment strategies. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, manage sustainment initiatives, and support long-term fleet optimization goals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, analyze, and recommend sustainment improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing fleet availability and reducing lifecycle costs.
- Manage Sustainment Improvement Projects (SIPs) from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with F-35 sustainment goals.
- Evaluate current supply posture and maintenance strategies to pinpoint inefficiencies and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and maintenance planning teams to optimize sustainment processes.
- Support the development and refinement of maintenance plans, including modifications that improve operational performance.
- Develop and deliver executive-level briefings summarizing analysis results, risks, impacts, and improvement recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers to build consensus around sustainment strategies
- Maintain a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement throughout the sustainment lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college
• Aircraft maintenance operations knowledge
• Experience with 5th Gen (F-22/F-35) mission systems or air vehicle/vehicle systems
• Project Management Experience to lead and conduct analysis of complex sustainment/ engineering issues.
• Experience with analysis tools, data management or comparative analysis.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
