Description:
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team as a C-130J Field Support Engineer! This position will deploy to India. Our team is responsible for providing product support to the India Air Force.
What You Will Be Doing
• Will advise and assist the customer on all matters pertaining to the daily maintenance, inspection, logistics and operation of the C-130J Aircraft and DTADS operations.
• In this role you will have a strong working knowledge of the C-130J and C-130J Maintenance Management Systems (Data Transfer and Diagnostic System (DTADS).
• Will utilize extensive aircraft knowledge of avionics, electrical and instrumentation systems installed on the C-130J platform.
• Analyze aircraft maintenance and problems and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Provide advice and assistance on the use and interpretation of C-130J technical orders, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other related technical publications.
• Will be responsible for DTADS data download interpretation, use of Engineering System Interface Control Documents and Fault Isolation/ ACAWS algorithms for troubleshooting with use of bus analyzer.
• Experience in troubleshooting, operation, modification and inspection methods relative to the installed mechanical systems and AE2100D3 Engines and propeller systems is a plus.
• Provide liaison through which information related to maintenance and operational problems can be quickly disseminated to operational and maintenance personnel. This position requires significant interface with customer and LM Aero personnel at all levels.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• C-130J Aircraft systems operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience
• Experience on C-130J Avionics/Electrical Systems or C-130J Airframe, Powerplant and General
• Experience with US Government and/or Foreign Military Customer Operational Sites
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with computer software programs and tools to include MS Office and Excel.

• Organizational, administrative, an planning skills
• C-130J DTADS operations knowledge and experience
• Planning and scheduling of the approved maintenance program for aircraft operations and maintenance
• Airframe and Power Plant commercial license
• Demonstrated experience with effectively interfacing with international aircraft operators
• Work and communicate well in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Learn quickly and work independently in a fast paced business tempo environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
