The Role
This role is ideal for a professional who excels at interpreting complex statutory and regulatory tax language and translating it into practical, technology-enabled compliance processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging federal and state tax codes with actionable workpapers, tools, and internal workflows—supporting our commitment to delivering best-in-class service to clients across industries.
Senior Managers can expect to:
- Interpret and translate federal and state statutory and contractual language related to credits and incentives into practical compliance procedures and documentation.
- Design and implement scalable workpaper templates and workflows that produce audit-ready reports.
- Analyze, scrutinize, and build reports from large Excel data sets
- Collaborate with tax technology teams to identify and drive opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Assist in the compliance and planning for federal and state tax credits and incentives, ensuring clients maintain eligibility and compliance.
- Contribute to cross-functional consulting engagements where compliance strategy intersects with advisory services.
- Engage with broader income tax teams and rotate across functions to support development and firm-wide flexibility.
- Stay current on federal and state legislation affecting tax incentives and compliance processes.
- Support client deliverables through data analysis, technical documentation, and project management.
Compensation and Benefits
Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Seattle, the expected salary range for this role is $134,500 to $218,900; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.
The Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in tax compliance which involves large excel data sets.
- Experience working with federal tax credits and incentives preferred.
- Strong knowledge of income tax principles and statutory interpretation.
- Prior experience in a public accounting or consulting environment required.
- PMP certification or demonstrated project management experience is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex tax law into clear, compliant workpapers and processes.
- Strong analytical, writing, verbal and interpersonal skills.
