Overview
The Customer Solutions Training Lead position is responsible for planning and managing the training plan for the Customer Solutions Department. This position assures consistent quality of Custom Closet designs, customer interactions by enforcing validating processes along with producing and providing procedural documentation for the Customer Solutions Department. This position partners with Supervisors and Managers on a consistent basis to develop and identify training opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Allocates training resources to maintain expectations for Foundation Week, training schedules, Training and Refresher courses, Custom Closet design training and follow ups, and other projects as needed
- Partner with Supervisors and Managers to develop training programs to address skill gaps in employees, prepare learning materials for training programs, and develop onboarding programs for new employees.
- Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by gathering and contributing information, scheduling, and completing audits, and scheduling follow up training when necessary.
- Works with Supervisors, Managers and Trainers to maintain a consistent and format for all communication to the team.
- Provides feedback to the leadership team with any training department schedule concerns or suggestions.
- Schedule design reviews of all lines of Custom Spaces (Elfa, Avera, and Preston) to coach improvement of quality and accuracy.
- Maintain the appearance, scheduling, and ordering of the training rooms and technology resources.
- Communicates constantly to share relevant business information with the team while using all available resources
- Motivates and inspires enthusiastic and productive behavior, with the goal of providing exceptional service to our customers and meeting or exceeding company goals and objectives
- Consistently arrives promptly to work the assigned schedule
- Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
- Performs other requested tasks and duties

Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in customer service field, preferred; retail experience a plus
- Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Word and knowledge of Excel
- Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
- Ability to quickly separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week
- Flexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once
- Possesses focused attention to detail while working quickly and accurately under pressure
- Makes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of our customers and our company, taking care to objectively process information
