The Independent Testing and Validation group is responsible for establishing and maintaining a consolidated Enterprise Testing program at the corporate level. Independent Testing and Validation is responsible for developing a common methodology and standards, providing governance and oversight, executing testing; and conducting horizontal reviews. Testing and validation teams are responsible for implementing the Enterprise Testing methodology, standards, and executing group specific testing.
The Enterprise Functions Testing & Validation (EF T&V) team, under Independent Testing & Validation, is seeking a Senior Lead Independent Testing Officer with subject matter expertise in technical financial accounting and regulatory reporting matters to support and execute testing in related to Financial Reporting Risk across the enterprise.
In this role, you will:- Develop and design methodologies and standards for review activities across the enterprise in alignment with Risk Management Framework.
- Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.
- Identify potential corrective actions, reporting, escalation, and resolution.
- Raise schedule delays to the review activity lead with proposed resolution plans.
- Lead high risk or complex review activity engagements in a matrixed environment, and communicate emerging risks to management.
- Create schedules for control reviews and consults on scheduling and capacity planning across the team.
- Assess, document, and communicate trends on emerging risks, themes, and identified issues.
- Partner with internal business and other business units, audit, legal, regulators, and industry partners on risk related topics.
- Lead project or virtual teams.
Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:- Independent risk and controls testing, Audit, regulatory and risk management experience.
- Experience with RCSA-based testing and subject-matter expertise in financial and regulator reporting.
- Experience managing testing engagements, preferably of large and complex scope, while leading other testers and resources
- Experience researching, interpreting, and concluding on complex technical laws, rules and regulations related to financial regulatory reporting
- Ability to develop and articulate sound proposals to stakeholders and leaders, and an ability to influence and drive timely decision making.
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited university/college in relevant discipline (e.g. business).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail and risk analysis skills.
- Experience writing reports for senior leadership audience level.
- Excellent Critical Thinking, Analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Management of full testing lifecycle experience that includes determining scope, test script design, test execution (including sampling methodology), analysis of results to identify gaps or issues, escalation of issues and risks, and documentation of reports with results.
- Experience providing substantive "credible challenge" to senior and executive business partners, when necessary, with the ability to lead through influence.
- Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, able to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, good listener who engenders creative thinking and teamwork.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
