Job Description Summary:

The Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as a key resource within the Real Estate Services (RES) team, supporting all global workstreams through data-driven insights and decision support. This role will partner with Workplace Strategy, Transactions, Project Management, Facilities, and Sustainability teams to develop dashboards, conduct space and occupancy analysis, track KPIs, and improve data quality. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with business acumen and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable data-informed decision-making across the Real Estate Services portfolio.
  • Develop intuitive dashboards and reports to support occupancy, portfolio planning, project tracking, facilities performance, and sustainability goals.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify data needs, define KPIs, and optimize reporting processes.
  • Ensure data consistency across systems (e.g., CoStar, Serraview, Saltmine, FAMIS 360, Yardi).
  • Provide insights that support workplace transformation, cost efficiency, and employee experience.

Primary Duties:

  • Aggregate and clean data from disparate systems including lease, occupancy, headcount, sensor, and work order platforms.
  • Build automated dashboards and reports in Power BI (or similar tools) tailored to each RES workstream.
  • Perform trend analysis on real estate performance metrics such as utilization, density, operating expenses, and project timelines.
  • Lead ad hoc analyses to support business cases, test-and-learn initiatives, and space strategy planning.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles with visual storytelling and executive-level summaries.
  • Document data flows, definitions, and governance standards for continued data integrity.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling and transformation (ETL).
  • Experience in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; DAX or M code a plus.
  • Ability to interpret real estate data (e.g., occupancy, project milestones, facilities operations).
  • Knowledge of corporate real estate systems such as Serraview, Saltmine, CoStar, or CAFM/IWMS platforms.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and translating complexity into clear visual insights.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to present insights to stakeholders across all levels.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Real Estate, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of analytics experience, preferably within real estate, facilities, or workplace strategy.
  • Understanding of corporate real estate functions and metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a desire to drive continuous improvement.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
