Responsible for working with the entire supply chain to ensure a smooth flow of product through the RDC network. The RFS utilizes Host and DMS systems to provide problem resolution, monitor possible flow issues, provide feedback for improvement of product flow, and is responsible for effectively communicating flow issues to the appropriate supply chain department. The RFS is responsible for managing flow processes through several Regional Distribution Centers. They must have a flexible schedule to provide coverage for RDC's needs across the network as they are open.
What You Will Do
- Analysis, research, and captaining resolution of issues involving C100/1XD flow through the DC and product received in house from 1XD/C100, 964, and any other specialty DC’s that apply
- Proactively researches, resolves, and/or reports items ordered out of DMS MC, late PO’s, hazmat issues, ASU communications, DMS/Host set up, systemic, or operational issues negatively affecting flow.
- Investigates idle and stranded demand to determine if procedural, operational, or systemic issue and recommends or captains resolution plan.
- Monitors RPCU Exceptions on a weekly basis and takes action as needed
- Manage DC to DC flow, service area change, FSA research and reporting, out of service area tracking, as well as DC to DC demand transfer analysis.
- Provides special reporting for seasonal and special programs (TAT, heating, excessive cube, grills, fasteners, AC’s, Home Accents, redeployment exercises, etc).
- Supports demand generated by the Emergency Command Center as well as a continued monitoring of disaster relief items stored at the RDC.
- Provides exception reporting regarding out of compliance Key Performance Indicator metrics at RDCs that delay flow of products such as: aged labels, aged requisitions, aged POs, etc.
- Cross-Functional partnership with IRP, RDC, and IT to maintain intended flow of merchandise through the network.
- Provide support regarding IT initiatives that include WMS, JDA, and Host updates impacting RDC flow processes.
- Serve as a communication liaison between the RDC and multiple parties of the organization such as IRP, IT, Merchandising, Field Inventory, etc.
