What does a successful Sales Compensation Advisor do?
A Sales Compensation Advisor at Fiserv plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance through the design and implementation of impactful sales compensation plans. You will be involved in collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to align incentives with key business metrics. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of compensation calculations and reporting, ultimately contributing to the success of our sales operations.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to analyze the annual operating plan and design effective sales compensation incentives to support.
- Gather, organize, and maintain accurate sales compensation data for reporting purposes and implement process improvements to streamline data analysis and reporting.
- Address inquiries from Sales and Finance Leaders regarding compensation plans and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular audits to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing sales compensation plans, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for plan modifications.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Sales Performance Management tools for analysis and compensation tracking.
What you will need to have:
- Experience in sales compensation, finance, and/or similar role
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting
- 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational, work and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Bachelors degree
- Proficiency in the Merchant Acquiring Industry and related revenue streams and pricing concepts
- Sales Performance Management tools and reporting
