Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren or Milford Michigan three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
In this role, you will lead the design and integration of advanced RF wireless systems—including antennas for Cellular, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Bluetooth, and V2X—across next-generation vehicle platforms. You will manage the full development lifecycle from concept, simulation, prototyping to testing, validation, and final integration. Using industry-standard EM simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, and ADS, you’ll model and optimize system performance, while also conducting hands-on testing with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, anechoic chambers, and outdoor validation setups. You’ll collaborate across hardware, software, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure seamless connectivity performance that meets both technical and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you’ll provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping guide cross-functional teams toward innovation and excellence in wireless design.
Success in this role demands a hands-on expert with strong command over both physical RF development and virtual modeling using industry-standard EM simulation and validation tools. You will influence cross-functional engineering teams, shape platform-level design strategies, and set the standard for wireless excellence in connected vehicles. This is your opportunity to lead with vision and engineer with precision—advancing the future of mobility through groundbreaking RF system innovation.
