Job Summary
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the onboarding team as well as full lifecycle onboarding new hires. Ability to partner with key stakeholders, Recruiters, TA Manager, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and candidates in a fast-paced environment. The TA Onboarding Manager will interact with all levels of the organization in order to oversee the execution of the new hire’s onboarding process from offer accepted to their first day at Orientation. The TA Onboarding Manager is responsible for the successful management of the Teammate Referral Program.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Manage the onboarding team in all things regarding the new hire life cycle.
- Manage the onboarding processes and adherence to employment compliance requirements; ensures and maintains document compliance and schedules drug tests, background checks with candidates and facilities, coordinates completion of I-9 and other documents, prints badges and monitors process to completion.
- Implement talent acquisition programs specific to your assigned business operating unit that also align with the overall enterprise strategy (i.e., internship programs, school career programs, military re-employment programs, etc.).
- Will assist in answers inquiries from candidates, teammates, and all level of the organization regarding new hire processes, paperwork requirements, and background checks
- Validate new hire documentation and data entry, including transitioning candidate documentation from recruiting to onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with OFCCP, AAP, EEO, current laws, regulations, and company policy related to recruitment and placement.
- Manage, lead and coach the onboarding team including annual performance planning.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition recruiting team to ensure a positive new hire experience.
- Oversee the electronic hire data all external and internal AMC teammates through ATS (UltiPro)
- Identify trends and issues with the onboarding process flow; makes improvement recommendations to department management
- Along with VP of Talent Acquisition, evaluate the use of technology, tools, social media recruiting, sourcing techniques, the overall onboarding process and selection strategies.
- Manage contractual relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters, job boards, job fairs and various internet job search websites.
- Assist as needed with Orientation (InDoc) set up, check in and clean up.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Talent Acquisition department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees. Also responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or related field from four-year college or university and five to eight related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management
- Proven experience leading a talent acquisition team including recruiting strategy and metrics management
- Ability to build and sustain a robust pipeline of talent
- Experience recruiting for senior level positions
- Proven expertise in relationship management; strong consultative skills and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience recruiting for the given assigned business operating unit (examples: pilots, nurses, paramedics, mechanics, corporate employees)

Computer Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
- Experience with PowerBI and Smartsheet is preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred

USD $95,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Pay
USD $130,000.00/Yr.
