Information Technology Specialist to join our team in
Clarksburg WV.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Regularly update and maintain computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Install software updates and patches and perform hardware diagnostics and repairs where necessary.
- Oversee the performance and security of the network involving setting up new networks, managing network hardware, and monitoring for security breaches or inefficiencies. Provide technical assistance to end users typically handling helpdesk requests, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to employees experiencing technical difficulties.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the IT infrastructure involving configuring firewalls, managing antivirus programs, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Manage IT assets, including hardware and software inventories, keeping track of licenses, and ensuring the organization is compliant with software usage agreements.
- Create and maintain documentation related to IT systems and protocols ensuring that procedures are well-documented, facilitating consistency and ease of troubleshooting and lead or assist with IT projects, such as system upgrades or the introduction of new technologies involving planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
- Convey technical information clearly to non-technical users, adept at explaining complex concepts in a way that is understandable and actionable for colleagues without technical backgrounds.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree(in Computer Science , Management Information Systems or related field) or equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in several programming languages
- Capable to lead projects or teams
- Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe.

Security Clearance Requirements
- Must be a US citizen with a current/active Top Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
