Position Description
Soldering/Quality Technician
- Performs electronic assembly/rework operations working with a variety of printed circuit boards.
- Performs printed circuit assembly/inspection per method sheets required during 2nd assembly operation.
- Performs any post assembly, serializing, special component insertion
- Perform rework and modify thru-hole and SMT electronic circuitry when required
- Perform No Clean, lead and lead-free solder operations as needed
- Maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Assist in other qualified areas as assigned.
- Train others as needed.
- Follow safety procedures

Education, Experience & Skills
- High School diploma or GED required plus two years experience in Electronics. College Diploma preferred.
- Certified in J10 Standard and IPC 610.
- Required to take onsite soldering test.
- Read and work from manufacturing documentation with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Working knowledge of all necessary tools and equipment
- High energy level, quick learner, and highly flexible
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally.
- Mobility within the work facility.
- Ability to use hand tools with dexterity.
- Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds
