This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of an office [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford or Mountain View], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join GM as a Product Manager , with a strong focus on stakeholder alignment and strategic vision within complex global environments. This role requires a keen ability to foster relationships, navigate organizational dynamics, and lead teams in building data products - self-serve data assets, data science models, and intelligence - designed to provide insight into customer behavior and product performance.
Product Management is responsible for developing, managing, and driving product initiatives across the organization. Key tasks include executing the product vision, roadmap, and requirements. This also includes working with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and collaborating with other teams to ensure the successful launch of new products. The role requires strong analytical skills, communication ability, and a passion for delivering exceptional products that meet customer needs

What You’ll Do
We are looking for someone who is curious, self-motivated, and passionate about data-driven problem solving
- Assist in the development of product strategy and roadmap to enable new revenue generating opportunities
- Work with Lead Product Manager(s) in your assigned area to lead planning and product definition from concept to launch, and throughout the product lifecycle
- Use multiple data sources such as market research, analytics, customer insights, and others to lead and prioritize a set Performance products across enterprise needs
- Partner with technical teams (e.g. Program Engineering Managers) to execute requirements building definition, development, and implementation of new products
- Provide direction to analytics, market research, and applied insights teams on what needs and concepts require investigation and validation to support new demand opportunities.
- Own overall business case for assigned initiatives, sharing accountability for business outcomes with product marketing
- Distill the essence of what our customers need, and represent as well-defined product briefs, Epics, and Features to create extraordinary experiences
- Apply end-to-end channel strategy to develop experiences and products
- Balance product feature requests vs. marketing, design, and other requirements
- Support technical execution team from concept through launch and lifecycle planning:
- Locate, synthesize and make visible customer information
- Frame and drive product and other decisions balancing customer and business considerations
- Anticipate risk throughout the technical development process
- Define requirements and needs for product performance analytics and reporting to maintain clear visibility on how the product quality and adoption is performing in the market
- Lead issues and uncertainties through effective decision framing and working towards resolution
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
- 2 - 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner/Manager
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to arrive at insights from analytical data
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player with skills to lead/participate in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated verbal, written and presentation skills.
