About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Lead Software Engineer for Consumer Lending Operations Technology within Wells Fargo Technology acting in the technical role as an individual contributor, leading other developers for the most complex computer applications and initiatives utilizing a thorough and functional understanding of available technologies and tools including but not limited to Linux, Java, Microservices, Kafka, Cloud, Oracle.In this role, you will:- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience with full Software Development Life Cycle using Agile, Iterative and/or Waterfall methodologies
- 5+ years of experience with J2EE
Desired Qualifications:- Strong in: J2EE, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Kafka, ReactJS, Junit
- Competent in: Java Script, SOAP, MQ Series, ECLIPSE, PL/SQL, Tomcat Application Server, Unix, Gradle SQL and OCP
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience creating sizing or work estimates.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with schedulers like Autosys
- Experience with database data modeling
- Experience working on Linux Servers
- Experience in using source control tools
- An industry-standard technology certification in Java
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience creating sizing or work estimates.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay for this role in Iselin NJ and Wilmington DE is between $122,200 to $217,200 dependent on experience and level of expertise.
