As a DNA Deposit Business Systems Analyst at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic software development team dedicated to enhancing our core banking software (DNA™) for our Credit Union and Bank clients. You will collaborate with the team to create custom add-ons and integrate ancillary banking software products with our core system. Your responsibilities will involve direct interaction with clients and the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with Financial Institution clients to define and document software requirements
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting software-related issues
- Work with various teams to implement requested changes and customizations
- Create detailed business requirements documentation and programming specifications
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor during the development phase
- Verify software functionality through testing and validation
- Support clients with software installation and configuration queries
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and documentation enhancements
- Utilize retail banking background to assist Financial Institutions in formalizing business requirements
What You Will Need To Have:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in Retail Banking and/or Credit Union industries
- Familiarity with the Fiserv DNA core banking system is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in software testing, validation, and problem research methods
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong multitasking skills and detail-oriented approach
- Innovative mindset to address new programming challenges
- Working knowledge of consumer banking deposit operations including ACH, In-clearing, Deposit Interest Posting, and Calculation Methods
What Would Be Great To Have:
- Knowledge of account/product design and Graphical User Interface principles
- Understanding of SQL and experience with creating SQL queries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
