What does a successful Sales Executive, Payment Facilitation do at Fiserv?
You will lead the charge in growing Fiserv’s Payment Facilitation business by acquiring and expanding relationships with software platforms, gateways, and other payment service providers. These are clients that want to embed payments into their solutions—ranging from vertical SaaS companies and ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) to marketplaces and gateway providers. Success requires a proven ability to open new accounts, structure complex solutions, and drive revenue growth across the embedded finance ecosystem.
What you will do:
- Sell Fiserv’s Payment Facilitation solutions to ISVs, gateway providers, marketplaces, and other embedded payment platforms that want to monetize payments and offer seamless commerce to their end users.
- Drive net new sales and revenue by positioning Fiserv as a strategic enabler, helping platforms reduce time to market, lower compliance burden, and scale with confidence.
- Engage a broad set of stakeholders across client organizations—including CEOs, CTOs, CFOs, and heads of product, finance, operations, and risk.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline, leading opportunities through various stages from prospecting to solution design, pricing, contracting, and onboarding.
- Craft comprehensive proposals that articulate financial upside, operational workflows, underwriting and risk requirements, and product differentiators.
- Create and execute account plans that include long-term growth strategies, expansion targets, and cross-sell opportunities, partnering closely with legal, product, and relationship management teams.
- Maintain up-to-date pipeline and client records in Salesforce CRM.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships, with a focus on fintech, SaaS, or payments.
- 8+ years of experience selling complex technology or financial services into ISVs, gateway providers, or payment platforms.
- Proven ability to navigate and sell into matrixed organizations, aligning multiple stakeholders around a technical and financial solution.
- Strong executive communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach and high commercial acumen.
- Availability to travel up to 80%.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Proven success in selling PayFac-as-a-Service, merchant acquiring, or embedded payment solutions.
- Familiarity with how ISVs and platforms embed payments, including sponsor bank relationships, compliance requirements, and risk underwriting.
- Understanding of APIs, gateway integrations, auth optimization, and tokenization strategies.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and high-value strategic partnerships using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
