Description:You will be the Engineering & Technology Chief Engineer for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 2 team. Our team is responsible for developing and testing the PrSM system to achieve an Early Operational Capability (EOC), with a focus on transitioning to production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Engineering & Technology Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for leading diverse technical efforts and providing technical leadership and support for the development process. You will drive the team to achieve successful demonstration of program development milestones, including design reviews, system integration and test, and software qualification.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing leadership to the team to achieve program milestones and objectives
• Interfacing with functional management to ensure adequate staffing and resource allocation
• Collaborating with the Precision Fires Chief Engineer staff to ensure synergy across tasks and communicating lessons learned
• Supporting technical reviews with the customer, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Serving as a PrSM Increment 2 representative to the Precision Fires Tactical Missiles Executive Leadership Council
• Planning and leading technical efforts associated with program development, hardware and software development, and qualification activities
• Communicating technical status and issues to internal and external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
-Candidate must have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
-The successful candidate must have significant multi-discipline technical leadership experience and be able to manage a highly complex technical project with little oversight.
-Ability to travel
Desired Skills:
Familiarity and knowledge of Tactical Missile systems combined with a working knowledge of the Army customer is strongly desired.
Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
