Description:What You Will Be Doing: The F-35 Modification Plans & Scheduling Representative plays a crucial role in managing the modification process for their assigned depot and/or field team sites. Their primary responsibility is to develop a Scheduled Work package for every approved Depot Flow Plan event, which involves collaborating closely with Mod Program Managers, Supply and Tooling Managers, and the Execution Team to assess the supportability of projected modifications. To ensure seamless coordination, planners maintain direct communication with the Joint Program Office (JPO) and modification sites.
In the event of changes, the planning team recognizes the implications and assists the Depot Flow Plan (DFP) Team in developing and incorporating work-around plans into the schedule. To prepare for each modification event, planners conduct several meetings prior to induction, including the official Pre-Dock Meeting. After induction, they continuously monitor progress and update the schedule as needed to assess the impact of any changes to the projected completion date.
Once the modification event is complete, the Planning team is responsible for developing a Post-Dock package that summarizes the work accomplished and conducting a Post-Dock meeting to brief customers on the outcomes. This comprehensive approach ensures that all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the modification process, from planning to execution and completion.
